The Bucks County Foodshed Alliance (BCFA), in cooperation with Bucks County Buy Fresh Buy Local, the Doylestown Food Co-op and Newtown Township Parks & Recreation, presents “Using Herbs in Your Kitchen” on Wednesday, May 6, 7-9:00pm, in the Newtown Township Community Room, 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown, PA 18940.

Suggested donation: $5. REGISTRATION WITH NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP IS REQUIRED! Call 215.968.2800, ext. 239 to reserve your spot.

Lindsay Napolitano of Fields without Fences, a certified organic farm in Frenchtown, New Jersey, will deliver the program.

Fields without Fences cultivates native and medicinal varieties of herbs, fruit, mushrooms and wild edibles in a regenerative design system that mimics the natural ecology. The farm operates a CSA (community supported agriculture) that sells shares of medicinal herbs through the season.

In addition, the farm staff also offers a wide range of professional ecological design and permaculture consulting services for regenerating and revitalizing the natural landscape. These include edible landscaping, native plant restoration, rainwater harvesting, garden design and installation, and property evaluation, among others.
