Heidi is currently a Board member of the Bucks County Audubon Society and started and co-chairs its Advocacy Committee. With birds and pollinator populations declining, we will explore the various types of native shrubs, trees, and flowers to attract them. We will talk about how to accommodate and support these animals further, once they arrive, with water sources, food, and shelters, year round. We will discuss the advantages and care of natives as well. Come and learn with us!
The Bucks WNF&GA Branch welcomes women and men who are passionate about sustainable agriculture and horticulture. The group engages interesting presenters on a variety of related topics at its regular meetings every other month on the first Tuesday evening. In addition, the group arranges daytime/weekend visits to the region’s places of interest. Visit us on Facebook at Bucks Farm & Garden. www.facebook.com/bucksfg/
