Action Item: Protect the Bees!
Pollinators like bees, birds and butterflies, help produce about one-third of the world’s food crops. If bee and bird-killing insecticides are not discontinued soon, our food supply could be in jeopardy.
Right now, the EPA is considering whether or not to allow the continued or expanded use of four toxic insecticides in a class called neonicotinoids, or “neonics” for short. Hundreds of studies have found neonics to be harmful to wild and managed bees, and associated with the decline in bird populations.
Tell the EPA to stop bee-killing pesticides from harming pollinators by clicking here. Deadline: April 21.
