Farm to Jars: Winter Stocks & Broths Canning Workshop


Learn how to make slow cooked, nourishing broths made from bones and/or locally grown vegetables. These delicious broths add richness to soups, stews, side dishes and sauces, creating the foundation for healthy cooking.

Attendees will participate in:

- Safely preparing stocks for shelf storage by pressure canning
- Discussion on safety, equipment, storage and recipes
- Learning to freeze stocks and soups

While the broth jars are being processed, we will enjoy a hot bowl of soup with a slice of homemade of bread and have chat about home preservation.

$60 per person. Includes: step by step instructions, handouts, recipes, sweet & zesty tastings, recipes, beverages and a jar to go home with.
