 Forest farming and multifunctional riparian buffers are increasingly being used to enhance natural resource stewardship while advancing economic viability on farms. This presentation will explore how land stewardship, farm systems and value- added processing can be integrated successfully. The presenter will provide photos of the work that has been accomplished on her own farm to achieve these efforts, as well as provide images of other creative buffer experiments throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region.
