Market Happenings:


  • Market Demo "Egg-ceptional Food!" with Shari Rossmann, President of Bucks County Foodshed Alliance 
    • 10 am & 11 am
    • Shari's demo and presentations will focus on the benefits and nutritional differences of eggs, pasture-raised eggs in particular. She will be making a Bistro Salad with egg, quinoa, and greens for us to sample, paired with hot sauces from Offbeat Gourmet - yum! 


  • For the Kids: Local Children's Book Author/Illustrator, Jennifer Hansen Rolli 
    • Presentation and Storytime at 10:30 am and 11:30 am
    • We are very excited to welcome Jennifer as a very special guest for the kids this week at the market.  Jennifer will read to the children, talk to them about her work, and sign books.
    • Jennifer began painting as a young child in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She is an amazing fine artist whose impressionist oil paintings are represented by the Silverman Gallery and Beacon Shortwave Gallery. After her third child was born, she starting writing and illustrating stories of her own. Her first book Just One More was published by Viking in 2014 and was a Dolly Parton's Imagination Library title. In 2017, Viking published her second book Claudia & Moth. This spring she illustrated How to Trick the Tooth Fairy, written by Erin Russell, co-author of the Dork Diaries. Books will be provided by the Newtown Bookshop. Your kids will LOVE these books, plan to join us for this very special event!
